16 YEAR OLD ALEX'S WONDERFUL WORDS OF PERSEVERANCE AND SUPPORT!




Stan - I'm 16 years old and 8 months ago I was diagnosed with MS (on my mom's birthday!) . I'm a hard core ballet dancer-if that's possible- trying so hard to get into a porfessional company, so that was a major setback. At first I couldn't walk correctly as my left side wasn't moving properly, my speech was very slurred and quiet, and my balance was so off. But now after tons physical therapy, support from my family and friends, and God's faithfullness I am back to dancing and jumping higher than ever because of the therapy! It's so wonderful to push so hard and finally get to where I want to be! One more year until I graduate high school, then I'm off to a company!
